HOLA, I’M ROSA!
I was born and raised in Houston, Texas! Growing up in one of the most diverse cities in the United States, I have always been passionate about reaching multicultural audiences through my interests in social media and public relations.
While living in Austin, Texas in 2012, I was given the opportunity to intern for Univision Austin. While shadowing the communications director, I was fascinated by the planning and partnerships that happen behind-the-scenes. After that, I landed a few more internships, testing out what I enjoyed about journalism, public relations, social media, event planning and even influencer marketing.
The common thread:
I love storytelling. I am deeply passionate about supporting people of color.
After a lay-off from my first public relations agency job in 2018, I started freelancing, focusing on ways to support content creators and entrepreneurs in sharing their stories with media and brands for paid sponsorship opportunities.
Today, more than ever before, I believe our stories need to be heard and represented.
I am a proud graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communication and a minor in Mexican-American Studies.
